Jamil Khan Welfare Organization
Our Objectives
1. Community Development Through Mosques
To strengthen communities by utilizing mosques not only as places of worship, but also as centers for social guidance, moral reform, and the practical implementation of an interest-free economic support system.
2. Establishment of a Sustainable Waqf System
To develop a structured waqf-based welfare model comprising zakat, sadaqah, donations, and endowed assets, ensuring long-term continuity of welfare services through a self-sustaining system rather than individual dependency.
3. Provision of Interest-Free Capital (Qarz-e-Hasanah)
To provide interest-free financial assistance and benevolent loans to deserving, skilled, and hardworking individuals, enabling them to start small businesses, trades, or other dignified means of livelihood.
4. Promotion of Skills and Economic Self-Reliance
To offer vocational training, skill development programs, and practical mentorship for unemployed individuals or those trapped in begging—helping them transition toward stable and respectable employment.
5. Elimination of Begging and Professional Panhandling
To systematically dismantle the culture of begging and exploitative panhandling networks by replacing them with real, sustainable economic opportunities.
6. Dignified Support for the Truly Needy
To ensure honorable and continuous care for individuals genuinely unable to work—such as the elderly, disabled, or severely ill—through waqf-funded provision of food, rations, and basic necessities, delivered with dignity and respect.
Dr. M. Fahim Khan
“Jamil Khan Welfare Organization was founded with a vision to build a society where every individual—regardless of their background—has access to dignity, opportunity, and the ability to improve their life.
We firmly believe that a strong and prosperous community can only be established on the foundations of education, healthcare, skill development, employment, and mutual cooperation. With this purpose in mind, we are working to establish a transparent, trustworthy, and fully Shariah-compliant Cash Waqf system. This Waqf will become a lasting source of goodness—one that does not provide temporary relief, but has the power to transform the lives of generations.
We aspire to see every family living with dignity, every youth empowered with education and skills, every widow and orphan supported, and every underprivileged individual moving towards economic stability. Our commitment is to introduce an interest-free, ethical, transparent, and justice-driven model that opens a new chapter of sustainable social development. I warmly invite philanthropists, institutions, youth, and all compassionate individuals to join us in this mission. Together, let us build a future where hope thrives, support is offered with dignity, and progress becomes a shared achievement. May Allah grant us sincerity, strength, and steadfastness.”
